Angela Rippon says dancing is best!!

In "How to stay young" (BBC 1, Episode 1 Thursday 7th April at 9 p.m., Episode 2 at the same time next week) Angela Rippon  was delighted to discover that dancing is measurably better than going to the gym, when done to the same intensity. And Scottish Country Dancing takes a lot of beating when it comes to having a good workout, and enjoying yourself at the same time!

It's fun, it's sociable, and it's really quite difficult, so very good for the brain. Harrogate Saltire Scottish Country Dance Club is running three beginners' sessions in May. The classes will be held at the Brostoff Hall, St. Peter's Church, Harrogate, on Monday afternoons, the 9th, 16th and 23rd May, from 2.30 to 4 p.m. and will cost £3 per session.
It's a great opportunity. Why not come and give it a try?
